Worcester Tea Party 4/15

by: sharilee

Sat Apr 11, 2009 at 21:08:46 PM EDT

(Insert Tea Bag Joke Here - promoted by garrett3000)

The big central Mass tea party is in Worcester. We've got hundreds of confirmed attendees already and won't be surprised if we have lots more.

Worcester Tea Party
April 15, 2009
4-6pm
Lincoln Square, Worcester

This is a family-friendly event. Bring signs, friends, and family. We've got singers, giveaways, and a superb lineup of speakers -- from big names to our own "Joe the Plumbers," all of whom are fed up with out of control taxes and spending.

Pittsfield Tea Party (0.00 / 0)
DON'T FORGET: WE ARE HAVING A TEA (Taxed Enough Already) PARTY - JOIN US AND HELP OUR VOICE BE HEARD!

PLEASE PARTICIPATE - IT'S IMPORTANT

The Berkshire County Republican Association is holding a Standout Tea Party to protest the gross over spending, generational theft, and over taxation that is plaguing our country.

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009
4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Park Square in Pittsfield

Bring a sign or two with you (signs cannot be attached to a board or pipe...that's against the law in Pittsfield). Make your sign to protest more taxes; unfair representation; stop corruption; Legislators...listen to the people; Vote the Bums out, or whatever strikes your fancy.

Dress comfortably according to the weather of the day.
Bring your family and friends with you!

We want to see strong support for this standout; please show up...let's show the world that the GOP is really alive and fighting.

Any questions, email Peter Giftos, pgiftos@berkshiregop.org.

GOP & tea parties (0.00 / 0)
What does the GOP have to do with the tea parties? These are non-partisan events.

Further, where was the GOP for Question 1? What about the last eight years when government grew more than any time since LBJ?

"The prediction here is that RMG will peter out in a couple of months." - Adam Reilly, 2/28/2007

Concerned Citizens (0.00 / 0)
Massachusetts Republicans are concerned citizens.  I only wish that I had tomorrow off of work instead of today so that I could attend one of the Tea Parties.

Undoubtedly, there will be countless Democrats, unenrolled, AND Republicans at these events.  Heck, the State Coordinator for the Tax Day Tea Parties is a Republican activist!

I believe that a good many Fall River Republicans will be at City Hall Plaza from Noon to 2:00 pm tomorrow for their own Tea Party.

As far as Question 1, that was hotly debated within the Party and I, for one, was in support of the question.

Agreed Garrett (0.00 / 0)
These are non-partisan events. At least Worcester's is. For the record, I was yelling and screaming about Question 1!

And don't get me started on the monstrous growth of government under President Bush.

Ah man, now I'm probably going to have nightmares tonight.
