With Labor Day just around the corner, the legislative season is resuming and the campaign season is heating up.
Coalition staff and volunteers have been hard at work, meeting with new conservative candidates, and training new activists. Over 100 people attended our signature trainings in four different parts of the state last week, and we’re off to a great start this week as well, with six more trainings stretching from Ludlow to Andover.
Last week we met with two great new candidates, with more reaching out to us every day. Again, if you have anyone to recommend, or would consider running, please email us.
We’re still seeking volunteers to distribute literature in opposition to the so-called Safe Communities Act, which would officially make Massachusetts a sanctuary state, as well as in opposition to the Bathroom and Locker room law. If you’re willing to assist us, please reply to this email and we’ll connect you with the appropriate person. And if you know of any town events, festivals, or parades our volunteers should educate voters at, please let us know.
As we head into the fall, we’ll be launching new online ad campaigns about the recent outrageous pay raises our incumbent state legislators voted for themselves and to stop our tax dollars from going to abortions and Planned Parenthood. Stay tuned and help us spread the word when they go live.
We encourage you to volunteer in the fall if you have free time, by replying to this email. We need help with everything from door to door, to envelope stuffing, to online research, so please pitch in!
Finally, Planned Parenthood recently released a ridiculous poll targeting our initiative opposing tax dollars for abortions, which one of our favorite academic researchers, Dr. Michael New, took some time to debunk. His op-ed can be found here, and if you’ve already read it, please click here to share it through our Facebook page.
Thanks for all you do to help make Massachusetts more conservative.
