Scott Brown and a welcome display of Party unity

I was more than pleased to watch Senator Scott Brown on Fox last night chastising Rich Lowry for not promising to support the Republican Party nominee.  Brown stated emphatically that regardless of who the nominee is, he (Brown) will support him or her.  That in stark contrast to others of course, including Lowry.

The bold statement was welcome and refreshing, and quite honestly long overdue.  Kukos to the Senator for standing tall where others have cowered.

  • But Scott Brown is a RINO! But now he’s for TRUMP and he’s not a RINO anymore. That’s how the grassroots are thinking these days.

The grassroots that’s always bellowing about gay marriage, abortion and taxes. Trump is for all three. And remember trade tariffs are taxes.

Not sure about your second point, but to the first – yes, Brown is a RINO. However, for those of us who are always angry about how our leaders stand toe to toe with the Democrats, if we hope to change that dynamic we must – must – acknowledge and applaud our leaders when they (finally) do the right thing. Otherwise, nobody will take our complaints seriously.
