Jobs First Ready to Combat Liberal & Union Special Interest Windfall
Rep. Mike Brady is receiving thousands of dollars from leftist & labor special interest groups
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – Rep. Mike Brady has received almost $19,000 in special interest money from unions and other insiders directly to his campaign account. Now the MetroWestDaily News is reporting that the Environmental League of Massachusetts, a left wing special interest group led by a team of former government workers is willing to spend an additional $15,000 on the race. It is unclear if those donations to ELM to benefit Rep. Brady will be public or if voters will be kept in the dark about who is trying to influence this race.
Jobs First is committed to making sure that there is an even playing field in this election.
Jobs First has already filed through OCPF over $20,000 in expenditures in support of Geoff Diehl and opposition of Mike Brady.
“We need to stand up to the liberal machine that has dominated Massachusetts politics and benefits insiders like Mike Brady who are committed to raising taxes and opposing Governor Baker’s agenda,” said Andrew Goodrich, President of Jobs First PAC.
Some of the special interest groups donating to Brady:
- Carmen’s Union
- Boston Teacher’s Union PAC
- Boston Police Detectives PAC
- Carpenters Union Local 424
- Carpenters Union Local 624
- Floor Coverers 2168 PAC
- Mass Association of Contributory Retirement Systems PAC
- Ironworkers Union Local 7
- Brick Layers People’s Committee
- Retired Public Employees Comm.
- Teamsters Local Union #653
Now with the addition of a new outside group coming to Mike Brady’s aid, it was clear that Jobs First had to get involved and stop the insiders political machine.
