China becomes #1 economy in the world – Under Obama’s watch…..

The story is here.

The International Monetary Fund recently released the latest numbers for the world economy. And when you measure national economic output in “real” terms of goods and services, China will this year produce $17.6 trillion – compared with $17.4 trillion for the U.S.A.

As recently as 2000, we produced nearly three times as much as the Chinese.

To put the numbers slightly differently, China now accounts for 16.5% of the global economy when measured in real purchasing-power terms, compared with 16.3% for the U.S.

And while this was happening Obama was spending his time golfing and stirring up racial animosity around the country with his BFF Rev Al Sharptongue.

I remember when China used to manufacture rubber dog poop for the local joke-shop.  For 79 cents you could buy this little rubber dog poop looking thing that would totally fool my sister and make her scream.  Now China owns our lunch.  How does it feel America?

China is still in the business of making number 2s – its just that now we are the poop..

This is not the first time we have been downgraded under Obama.  Remember back in 2011 when Standard and Poor’s downgraded our legal debt and made us a less attractive investment than ever before?  Yeah, I remember the good old days…. That happened under Obama too….

Remember when Barack and Michelle Obama tried to attract the Olympics to Chicago and got denied?  We used to get those kinds of gigs, but we have since been downgraded….. Under Obama’s leadership….

It will happen again.  There is still a full two years left in his term.  My guess is that we will drop in education, healthcare, income and college graduates before Obama leaves town with his pension and half the furniture in the White House.  I guess the real question is how far will we actually drop under his failed leadership?  How low can we go?  It’s kinda funny really, I thought for sure the ‘Hope and Change’ would have sent us in the opposite direction….

We have an Ebola outbreak, or our jv president shoots his mouth off to a bunch of radical marauders as they take over Iraq.  I could also see him get away with data mining every email, text message, phone call, and google search we make. All while people “march” in protest of a man’s right to steal cigars and beat cops.

  • In order to believe this story about China’s economic preeminence you have to swallow credulously–as does the IMF–China’s own statistics about its economic output; which is rather like swallowing, back in the 70s, the USSR’s stats about itself (that completely fooled the CIA). Even if it were true, per-capita China is one of the poorest countries on Earth.

Which is not to deny everything you say about America’s relative decline is true. It’s just that that every decade the cafe class fantisizes another challenger to U.S. preeminence. 20 years ago Japan was going to eat our lunch and before that there was the myth that the Soviet Union was our equal. It wasn’t except (for a while) in missile silos. We are either in a unipolar or a NONpolar world.

For me it’s not surprising information. I think China deserves that because this country works really hard on their economy and deserves to be called the most economically progressive. Just think – every second thing we touch is made in China. I can’t imagine how many factories they have and how many people work over there. Unfortunately, not all the people there get decent wages, most them just have money to stay afloat and use products like fast loans performed online for making ends meet. But the difference between American and Chinese economies is small and I think that next year the US will get the first place.
