Immigration Town Hall w/Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson & John Chapman for Congress

Please join Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson and candidate for U.S. Congress, John Chapman for a Town Hall discussion on immigration reform and the need to secure the border.

For John, the issue continues to be a failed, pro-amnesty, immigration policy, which Bill Keating supports.  John believes that we should secure the border and that means allocating more resources and we need to enact policy changes to stop the flow of illegal immigration into our country.  Fixing our immigration system starts with changing our congressman.

In August, Rep. Bill Keating voted against a bill that would have targeted more resources for border security, provided humanitarian assistance and enacted policy changes to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into our country, which has reached crisis proportions.

The bill also would have provided additional funding to states for deploying the National Guard to the border, a step that John has asked Governor Deval Patrick to undertake.

John believes that we cannot continue to live with two different routes for foreign nationals to follow for entry into this country – one that is legal, and another that is illegal.

Please join us for this important discussion.
