From the 4th Hampden:
Attorney John Velis defeated Republican City Councilor Dan Allie in the special election for the 4th Hampden District house seat.
With all precincts reporting, the Democrat received 2697 or 53% to Allie’s 2354 or 47%.
Velis will fill the seat long held by Republican Don Humason, who left the House to take a seat in the state Senate.
From the 5th Middlesex:
State Rep. Jason Lewis, a Democrat from Winchester, defeated Monica Medeiros, a Republican and alderman-at-large from Melrose, for the 5th Middlesex District seat Tuesday in a Special Election, according to a number of Lewis’ colleagues on Twitter.
From the 16th Suffolk:
REVERE – RoseLee Vincent was elected to represent the constituents of the 16th Suffolk District seat in the Massachusetts House of Representatives in a special election today.
