Thousands of Delegates Registered to Attend
BOSTON – With more than 2,000 delegates already confirmed for the 2014 Massachusetts Republican Party Nominating Convention, all indications show strong interest by MassGOP faithful. More than 200 delegates have confirmed in the last 24 hours alone and that pace continues.
“This year’s Convention is sure to be a success because of the enthusiasm of delegates and the energy of our outstanding candidates for the 2014 elections,” said MassGOP Chairman Kirsten Hughes. “This day will be an excellent opportunity to bring together delegates, candidates, activists and supporters from across the Commonwealth to continue to build the momentum that will bring balance back to Beacon Hill.”
The Convention is set to take place at the Harry Agganis Arena in Boston on Saturday, March 22.

Acceptance speech by the Republican nominee for Governor
Presentation and remarks by MassGOP Chairman Kirsten Hughes
Address to the delegates by National Committeeman Ron Kaufman and National Committeewomen Chanel Prunier
Presentation of the Edward W. Brooke Award
Massachusetts Republican Edward Brooke is a truly historical figure in our country. In 1966, he became the first African-American popularly elected to the United States Senate.
