Tea Parties fight for the Constitution

One of our members has a letter published in the Worcester Telegram.

I take offense at the tea party movement being called unpatriotic, among other things. People who are in the tea party are as patriotic, if not more, than those in any other movement in this country. They are “We the People” mentioned in the Constitution of the United States of America.

As for the government shutdown, it was the president and the Democratic Congress who wanted the shutdown to happen so they could blame others (Republicans), and they knew that the mainstream media News outlets (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN) would help them lay the blame.

People who care about our great country should be thankful for the tea party movement and what it really stands for. Those belonging to local and state tea parties are fighting to keep us free, and to follow the Constitution.

Does anyone actually think President Obama cares about us?

Obamacare isn’t about health care at all; it’s about controlling us and the economy. This system may need to be reformed and improved, but certainly not destroyed. President Obama should be impeached for what he is doing to our health care system and many of his other actions.

Tea party politicians believe these things are important enough to fight for, and we should too. If the Republicans can obstruct the Democrats from doing more harm, more power to them.

Remember, during the shutdown, the Republicans wanted to fund everything, except Obamacare. If only they had succeeded.

I think most American can identify with the corruption of Obama’s Spy Ring and it’s hard to call Patriotic Americans “unpatriotic” if they are trying to keep the government out of our “in box”.
