A Golden State Conservative Reaches Out to the Bay State

To the readers, bloggers, and visitors of Red Mass Group:

My name is Arthur Christopher Schaper, resident of Torrance, CA.

I am a teacher-turned-writer on topics timeless and timely, political, cultural, and eternal.

After the 2012 elections, I read a moving and motivating column by Boston Globe conservative columnist Jeff Jacoby, who emphasied the importance of Republicans to focus on local issues, stay upbeat and positive, and foster a grassroots ground game. This article he wrote in part as a response to one Red Mass Group blogger’s lament:

“The Mass GOP is. . .dead.”

I then decided that following the unexpected upsets in 2012, the GOP needed to start up its own fifty-state strategy, just as former Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean was committed to a fifty-state outreach following 2004.

I contacted GOP clubs in the Northeast, Maryland, and Delaware. I made connections specifically with party leaders in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Today, I am glad to share with readers that I am a weekly political contributor to Go Local Prov and Go Local Worcester.

I invite every able-bodied and willing conservative, liberatarian, and independent to read my pieces when they get a chance.

Mass GOP is already bouncing back, and I want to help as much as I can.

Please contact me at arthurschaper@hotmail.com if you have any questions or you want to connect.

Thanks again, Mass GOP!
