Did anyone see Bob Dole this past week?

Ias a veteran can certainly appreciate the service of a man like Bob Dole, I however for the life of me can’t understand where his political philosophy is comming from. I know he was not known to be an active proponent of Conservative values in his time in office, but he if anyone should know better.

The Democratic party today as I see it can’t be reasonably negotiated with. To the likes of Schumer, Reid, Pelosi Obama etc. negotiation consists of;1. We come up with a plan for legislation with no imput from anyone but ourselves; 2. We call anyone who wants to change a part of said legislation all kinds of names and belittle them. 3. We will refuse to even consider your idea and would rather have everthing come crashing down to get our way.

Sorry Sen. Dole but negotiating with absolutists like todays Dems is as futile as Chamberlain’s appeasement of Nazi Germany; or in more modern context like Israel negotiating with Hamas or Hezbollah. It can be painful sometimes but standing tall and refusing to be bullied can at least halt our left drift into statism.

I for one agree with Mark Levin when he stated “We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. period.”
