MassYR 2013 Winter Meeting

The Massachusetts Young Republican Federation Executive Committee will hold its 2013 Winter Meeting on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 1:30-4:30PM at the Brookline Public Library (Main Library: Conference Room) located at 361 Washington Street, Brookline, MA. Library is accessible by T or bus.

Meeting is open to interested young adults and young professionals from across the state.

Official dues-paying members are encouraged to attend.  (2013 Membership Dues can be paid online by visiting www.mfyrmembership.eventbrite.com).

Following the meeting we will head to The Village Smokehouse a few blocks down in Brookline Village for drinks and appetizers.  

The meeting will include discussions about the ideas/recommendations suggested in the newly released RNC report: Growth & Opportunity Project, the upcoming elections in MA (U.S. Senate Special, Leah Cole for State Rep., and local city & town), open MFYR executive committee positions, and re-establishing standing committees (let us know if you’d like to lead or join one of our new committees).  Additionally we will be discussing the YRNF National Convention taking place in Mobile, AL this July. More details to come soon.

** Effective June 9, 2012 the Massachusetts Federation of Young Republicans is now governed as a statewide organization (local clubs/chapters have been dissolved).  A copy of the Resolution can be viewed under “MFYR Convention” by visiting massyrs.org.   YR members that paid dues to their local club had their membership transferred to the MFYR at no additional charge.  For those interested in building a local YR chapter in your region please contact us at MASSYRS@GMAIL.COM to receive the MFYR Documentation Package and learn more on how to charter a YR Chapter.
