(Throughout the day today, I’ve received emails, Facebook messages, Twitter DM’s, even some old fashioned phone calls asking me if the Party spent money on in-kind donations, would that be the same as a direct donation? Of Course! Six of one, half dozen of another. It’s all good! It’s all in support of electing Leah Cole. – promoted by Paul R. Ferro)
Dear Chairwoman Hughes,
We’ve not met. My names is Paul R. Ferro. I’m a GOP activist. Perhaps you’ve heard of me?
As you probably know, Leah Cole won the GOP Primary for State Rep in the 12th Essex District. You know as well as I do, this is a very winnable seat, especially in a Special Election.
Special Elections in winnable seats are often good to our Party. Ask State Rep’s Peter Durant and Keiko Orrall. Ask Scott Brown about his two (count ’em, one-two) wins in Special Elections.
Now is your opportunity to lead by example. Make a maximum donation of $3,000 from the MassGOP to Leah Cole’s campaign ASAP.
I know money is often tight over at the MassGOP, but according to the party’s most recent report to OCPF, as of 2/28, the MassGOP has $10,779.48 cash on hand.
Yes, I’m asking for a substantial portion of that, but isn’t electing Republicans like Leah Cole exactly the reason why the MassGOP raised those funds? Indeed, it’s very reason for existence?
If you haven’t already, please send $3,000 to Leah Cole’s campaign today.
P.S. While you’re at it, make sure Brad Jones and the House Republican PAC send $500 to Leah too!
