Time For Christians To Leave Democrat Party

TIME FOR CHRISTIANS TO LEAVE THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

                                   By:  Edward P. Shallow

Over the last twenty years, Barack Obama claimed to be a Christian.  Considering he  attended  services  by the radical Rev. Jeremiah Wright  who sermonized, “God Damn America”, and U.S. to  Blame for 9/11 is a clear indication  neither the reverend or Senator Obama  were confirmed Christians. .

For more evidence, it seems!  Where are the media and press?

An Occidental College transcript provides concrete evidence to annul Obama presidency.

The registration transcript states Name: Barry Soetoro~Religion: Islam ~ Nationality: Indonesian

The smoking  gun evidence  that annuls  Obama’s presidency  is Obama’s  college transcripts  from Occidental  College application  for and receiving  foreign  student aid.

In my editorial of June 29, 2007 (Boston Post Gazette) – Titled:  FLAG DAY the day Democracy Died in Massachusetts I indicated;

Former mayor Raymond Flynn, the lead sponsor  of the proposed  Constitutional Amendment  to ban Gay Marriage  said the 170,000  residents  that signed  the petition  had their votes  stolen yesterday  (6/14)  when at least  10 legislators  switched their votes.  It was a sell out, pure and simple. All of the legislators who switched their vote were not the soul of honesty, totally lacking in character and integrity.  I regret to inform readers today, most of the legislators were Christians, including my Representative and Senator, both Catholics.  Catholics’ in particular are in violation of Christian morality and a sacrilege.  Lawmakers often make a link between faith and public duty.  Public duty is not a ticket to Heaven, Faith is.

As a Catholic, I have long thought Church leaders have been remiss in their condemnation of politicians who are in violation of the moral teachings of the faith and falsely take Holy Communion are in a serious state of sin.

It is time to take off the blinders. It’s time for a change for the better, the following from a loyal reader with my gratitude.

Bishop E. W. Jackson is making a war cry:  “Let God’s people go!”

Jackson, a Marine Corps veteran, graduate of Harvard Law School and adjunct professor of law, is echoing the words of Moses in a campaign to persuade Christians of all races that the time has come for a wholesale exodus of Christians from the Democrat Party.

The former candidate for U.S. Senate in  Virginia points to what he calls the Democrat party’s  “cult-like devotion” to abortion; the rejection of the traditional biblical model of family; the hostility hurled at those who express a Christian viewpoint such as Chick-fil-A president and Chief Operating Officer Dan Cathy; the actions of organizations such as the ACLU and the Foundation For Freedom From Religion in suing cities and towns for displaying crosses at memorials or mentioning the name Jesus in prayer at official events.

Beyond all of this. Jackson says, Democrat operatives are also attacking Gabrielle Douglas, the 16-year old black American who won the 2012 gold medal in gymnastics.

“The accomplished young lady had the nerve to give glory to God for her win,” Jackson says.  “This apparently offends liberals.”

Case in point:  Mary Elizabeth Williams, journalist for the progressive online magazine Salon.com, wrote, “I’ve often wondered what it is about Christians like Douglass that unnerves me so…Douglass and her ilk seem to espouse a faith based on what is commonly referred to as “The God of Parking Spaces.”

Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America’s Nation Destiny), responds:  “Progressives are indeed ‘unnerved by devout Christians.  That’s why they resort to ridicule, even a 16-year -old Olympic medal winner.Williams says we worship ‘The God of Parking Spaces.’ but would prefer Gabby’s God of grace and kindness to the leftist’s god of ridicule and persecution.

“Our Heavenly Father loves us and helps us and helps those who are humble enough to ask Him.”

Later this month when Democrats make same-sex marriage part of their official Party Platform, the former practicing attorney says they will be spitting in the ace of every Bible-believing Christian in America: “They will be saying, “We don’t care what you think, what you believe, or what the Bible or the God of the Bible says.  We know better that God.”

Jackson’s message to Christians is, “The Democrat Party has tuned its back on Christians.  It is time to turn our backs on the Democrat Party.”

“If not us, who?  If not now, when?”  Ronald Reagan

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

  • Bishop Thomas J. Paprocki of Springfield, Ill has weighed in on the morality of both the Democratic & Republican 2012 national platforms.

Drawing particular attention to the Democratic Party platform’s support for “intrinsic evils” like abortion and “same-sex marriage,” Bishop Thomas J. Paprocki of Springfield, Ill. has said Catholics need to “think and pray very carefully” about their votes in the upcoming election.

“My job is not to tell you for whom you should vote. But I do have a duty to speak out on moral issues,” Bishop Paprocki said in his Sept. 23 column for the Catholic Times diocesan paper. “I would be abdicating this duty if I remained silent out of fear of sounding ‘political’ and didn’t say anything about the morality of these issues.”

He said that voting for a candidate who promotes actions or behaviors that are “intrinsically evil and gravely sinful” makes a voter “morally complicit” and places the eternal salvation of his or her soul in “serious jeopardy.”

There are “many positive and beneficial planks” in the Democratic Party platform, the bishop said, but some promote “serious sins.”

Bishop Paprocki also examined the Republican Party platform and found that it has “nothing in it that supports or promotes an intrinsic evil or a serious sin.”
