Hey Granny Warren, ‘There is nobody in this country who got Cherokee on his own”.

Remember the now infamous speech by, then white person, Elizabeth Warren?  The speech goes like this:

“there is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody.

You built a factory out there? Good for you, But I want to be clear: you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did.

Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.”

Her argument is that there is a social contract that obligates each of us to give back to the community, which we do everyday in the form of taxes, work, charity etc.  Elizabeth Warren doesn’t think that is enough.  We owe MORE!

But what about her social contract with her Cherokee brothers and sisters?  She still claims to be part Cherokee, and damned proud of it!  So what is her social contract with the Cherokees?  Does she have one?  Or did she get Cherokee on her own?  Doesn’t she have some kind of obligation to help them along the way?  As I write this there are four Native American women sitting in a hotel room in Boston hoping to simply meet with Elizabeth Warren in order to clarify her heritage.  They admit they may have the situation misunderstood, and that Warren may actually be Cherokee.  Doesn’t she owe them something?  A simple answer; a 15 minute conversation, a kind ear or sypathetic voice?  Or did Elizabeth Warren get Cherokee on her own?

The Cherokee have had a hard existence in America.  In the case of the Cherokees – ‘maurauding bands DID come and seize everything in their possession’.  The ‘Cherokees tried to keep a big chunk of what they produced and owned’, but white folks took it away.  Now Elizabeth Warren owes nothing to her sister Cherokees – not even a return call.

Like most liberals, the generous and patriotic acts required of everyone else, do not apply to them.  Granny Warren lectures us about how much to give to each other, but she refuses to answer a simple question of her heritage asked of people who have suffered more than any of the entitlement-driven sitabouts looking to elect another big government nanny-state bureaucrat to spend taxpayer’s money in Washington.

As in the days of early America, the nanny-state government is the ‘marauding band that has come to seize everything’ and Elizabeth Warren wants to prove she IS the Chief.
