Nearly two-and-a-half years ago, I launched my campaign for Massachusetts State Auditor with one simple message: Every Dollar. Every Dime. Online.
Over the course of the campaign, I racked-up 20,000 miles on my car, spoke at over 160 events in 100 cities and towns across the commonwealth, marched in parades and – got to know thousands of great people like you. What a remarkable opportunity it was for me!
While I did not win the election, the foundation of my campaign not only influenced the entire race between all the candidates for Auditor from every party, it actually ended up being adopted by the eventual winner of the Treasurer’s race, and now current Treasurer, Steve Grossman. (see http://bit.ly/y1x0AT)
People are always asking me if or when I will run for office again. I tell them that I surely will, but, because of my strict fiscal conservatism, I cannot in good conscience launch another campaign with so much debt still unpaid. There is more than enough fiscal irresponsibility on Beacon Hill for all of us; I will not act in such a reckless manner.
If you liked what you saw in my campaign, if you would like to see me run for office again and continue to become more and more politically active in Massachusetts politics, I ask you: Will you help me pay down my campaign debt by making the most generous donation you can today – right now?
Please read the information below about donating to my campaign committee to help me pay down the debt.
From the bottom of my heart: Thank you.
