We all recall how Elizabeth Warren proudly proclaimed her influence in creating the powerful force that is Occupy Wall Street. She gleefully cackled at how she was the inspiration for what they do. She also boasted of her history of throwing rocks at people she did not agree with. Read it here:
Outside of teaching and research, Warren says she had “thrown rocks at people that I think are in the wrong.”
Well her influence was never so obvious as this past weekend when the OWS crowds in DC started pelting the police with bricks. Eleven occupiers were arrested, and one for felony assault on a police officer after hitting him in the face with a brick.
David Schlosser, who is a spokesman for the U.S. Park Police, said Sunday that one of those arrested was charged with felony assault on a police officer and assault with a deadly weapon. That person is accused of hitting an officer in the face with a brick Saturday evening. The officer was treated at a hospital.
So maybe Elizabeth Warren is telling the truth when she brags about being the inspiration for the OWS movement. I half expected she was stretching the truth to inflate her credentials, but after seeing the dirty, criminal crowds of OWS do exactly what SHE inspired them to do makes me think twice.
Let me ask a silly question – if the tables were reversed, and a Republican said something like ‘I throw rocks at people that are wrong and I take credit for the OWS’ and shortly thereafter the OWS threw bricks at a cop, would the MSM take notice? Would the MSM try and draw an ugly connection between what the candidate said and what happened as an act of violence from OWS. Of course they would.
This is what Elizabeth Warren is all about. She is the self proclaimed creator of the occupy wall street movement. She openly confesses to throwing rocks at people she thinks are in the wrong. (Admittedly Elizabeth Warren meant throwing rocks figuratively) but her followers in OWS do not know that and she needs to tell her troops to stop attacking the law enforcement folks.
Furthermore, the mainstream media needs to ask Elizabeth Warren to tone down her violent and inciting language back from the precipice of street revolution. Her angry tone does nothing to help further the discussion of how to get Americans back to work. It is time for Elizabeth Warren to condemn her work with OWS and demand they retreat from the violence she has called for.
