I thought you might be interested in the information below, which is circulating in Massachusetts in advance of the Republican Primary. There are those who believe that Governor Daniels would be a far stronger candidate than any of those who are on the ballot. And this seems to remind voters that they do have an alternative. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
In just a few days in late January, more than 18,000 Americans signed a petition in support
of Mitch Daniels for President at RunMitchRun.com.
On Tuesday, March 6, you can make
the same statement in the Massachusetts Republican Primary. After all:
1. Dissatisfaction among GOP voters with the current field is widespread.
2. More than 50% of independent voters view current GOP candidates unfavorably.
3. Recent polling indicates that a vote for anyone in the current field is increasingly
becoming a vote to re-elect President Obama.
You don’t have to settle for a candidate who may not represent your beliefs.
You DO have an alternative:
Write in “Mitch Daniels” ON YOUR BALLOT.
WHY DANIELS? Mitch Daniels is America’s best governor: Indiana first elected him in
2004 and then re-elected him by an 18-point margin in 2008-even though President
Obama carried Indiana. Daniels’ current approval rating is near 75%. Indiana was
broke in 2004, yet today has a truly balanced budget, a sizeable budget reserve, and
the first AAA credit rating in the state’s history. And Indiana now has the fewest
state employees per capita in the U.S.-yet 77% of Hoosiers described their state
government as “efficient,” the second highest rating in the nation.
Mitch Daniels has more experience than any current candidate: Prior
to becoming Governor, Daniels served as Director of the U.S. Office of Management and
Budget, President of North American Operations at Eli Lilly (a Fortune 500 company),
President & CEO of the Hudson Institute, Senior Political Advisor to President Ronald
Reagan, and Executive Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
