Was anyone else concerned about the behavior of the TSA reported in the NYT this morning:
The T.S.A., for example, has trained 3,000 of its agents in techniques meant to detect suspicious behavior by passengers. The agency says this has resulted in the arrest of over 2,000 people – although those were all for criminal conduct, not suspicion of terrorism. Still, civil liberties advocates question whether that might eventually lead to the profiling of passengers based on their ethnicity or race and might violate their civil rights.

Still waiting for one of the candidates to stand up and take a stand explicitly on reining in the TSA and recognizing the abridgement of civil liberties that’s taking place.
