Quadaffi is dead, and Libya will move. Forward or backward is not clear.
But the next time somebody asks what good getting Saddam Hussein out of power in Iraq did, consider this.
When Saddam was killed, it scared Quadaffi – who may have seen his own career as a parallel. He went so far as to renounce his WMD program, to proffer friendship and claims that he was not THAT bad a dictator, and surrendered his nuclear weapons to the US, and they are now at a facility in Kentucky.
So when you hear fretting about all the arms, biological weapons, and other long range weapons that may now fall into the ‘wrong hands’, consider that there could also have been nuclear weapons in that mix.
But they’re in Kentucky instead – and it’s George Bush’s fault.
