MARA Meltdown – Dead Meat/Nut Bags/Boots On Their Necks!

Nice guy.. (sarcasm) this Bernie Green character as indicated in his sentiments below about a recent MARA challenge. As you can see from his response to one of the good guys, Steve Aylward, Green is just your average, classless, out-of-control liberal has-been. Oh yeah, he’s also a MA GOP State Committee Man who’s using violent rhetoric to include the terms “dead meat”, “nut-bags” and “boots on their necks”. Like I said, nice guy.. We ought to be very proud of Bernie’s so-called GOP representation through the years. Furthermore, over the last couple months, Green and his co-conspirators – Helen Hatch, Paul Ferro, Tom Weaver, and a few others have deviously consorted to steal a Republican Assembly election via harassment and intimidation measures with malicious intent. Let’s not forget that Weaver wants fair, open & honest elections with a “Show ID To Vote” initiative; but, this only matters when Democrats are getting the best of us. Lastly, considering Bernie Green’s expressed primary concern about the MA GOP and town & city committees, why in Heaven’s name would Bernie want to be in “totalitarian” control of an exclusive conservative organization that espouses true principles and values. Umm. Makes one wonder.. Sincerely, Mike Franco  ps: Sorry for the “fat” paragraph. Please read on…

Steve: First, Please send me the check for the Chapter Funds tomorrow and I will get the account opened. If you stay in MARA and the Chapter we will plan that next step.

Second, you really are torn inside,I don’t doubt that for a moment, and I suspect that you believe the ‘trash’ that has been put out in defense of the small group of angry people who have spent months trying to destroy a number of long-time MARA members. Those who are officers standing in their way are the primary targets. You really do not know the people involved enough to know who are telling lies and who are not.

You may say your neutral – but everything you do says not! That is your right, and waiting until the 14th is wasting time. They are all dead meat.

Everything is blown out of proportion. The MassGOP and the City and Town Committees are the most important matter you and I need to address. If those I support win, fine. If those I don’t win, by using stand-ins on the 15th who will attempt to reverse course, good luck to them! If somehow they are back in.. 40 or more will quit MARA. And MARA will lose its Charter.

I have attempted to stay out of the line of fire, as I previously stated. But e-mails such as the one you send cause my blood to boil. (violent verbal attack by Green here..)

As for the causes, they guilt was established with the direct evidence they supplied. The e-mails and other talking trash is a bonus. They will shit in any pasture they wander into. As for some, over and above the principals – there are some nut-bags who hate everyone who does not exactly agree with them.

Higher-Ups in the GOP food chain are waiting also to see the outcome on the 15th. Even if they win, they will have heavy boots on their necks (more violence on behalf of Green) – believe it!

By the way, I understand your name was floated as a candidate for office in MARA. Any reason you failed to mention it?

Your basically a good guy at heart, you got involved with an organization that should be playing an important supporting role advocating conservative causes, that is being pulled apart at the moment.

Dozens will leave regardless of the outcome, and no amount of coaxing is going to change that now. You and I have other responsibilites and interests in the Town and the State Party. I hope we can continue to work for those ends.

Bernie – As you know, the check that was given to me by Lee Ann Kay to establish our chapter funds still has not been cashed or put into a MARA 7th bank account. Quite frankly, the reason I have not fulfilled my Treasurer obligations to date is because I am uncertain whether I will be staying in the Organization. As you know, there is much disharmony in the ranks resulting from a letter apparently sent to eight members for the purpose of expelling them from MARA.

It is of course impossible to know if any of this is true or what the basis of the charges are, as none of the rank and file has been informed of the letter, nor understand the charges. We were of course told of the basis of some of the problems at the last meeting, but in little detail. Also, no mention was made of horrifically offensive emails from existing Officers, referring to a long time elderly member as a “shrill old lady” I believe.

Apparently this young man never learned to respect his elders. Nor was any explanation given as to why top officers of MARA were allowed to return certified mail from said members unopened.

I cannot speak for any else, but I assure you that such comments, complaints, actions and lack of actions might in fact cause me to say something I also might regret at a later time. These things do tend to get blown out of proportion.

For this reason, I will wait to see what if anything the May 14th meeting brings. (For all of us who also were never included in correspondence about said meeting, that is the meeting to discipline the eight.

As you know it is virtually a given that MARA will in all likelihood lose many, many members if these eight are disciplined without cause. I do wish that my suggestion at the last meeting of reaching out to the other side via an arbitrator had been taken more seriously by those with the power to make it happen. This unfortunate circumstance could have and should have been averted. I hope that even at this late hour the mess that has been created can still be undone

Again, I have done poorly in my role, and if you would like to replace me immediately I would certainly understand.
