The Taxman Cometh

Westboro Selectman, and GOP State Senate Candidate George Thompson has released a new video highlighting my state senator’s radical tax raising agenda.

Jamie Eldridge, one of 10 State Senators to vote against the senate version of the Perry Amendment, state senate district, the Middlesex & Worcester, is a swing district, making Jamie unarguably the most leftist state senator to represent a swing/conservative district in the state.

This is a race that is flying under the radar.  Keep an eye on this one on election night.

  • You’ve lost Braude….it’s time to hang it up.

  • There exist a number of benefits to state legislators that help them either increase their own personal pre-tax revenue or to reduce their federal tax expense.  One is by collecting per diems for each workday that they are “at work”.  Another is to utilize an offset for per diems not taken against your federal income taxes.  This is one of the reasons why the chamber is hardly ever not in session, it allows them to collect per diems and realize these “perks”.

Seeing that Sen Eldridge is a fan of higher taxes I would have the following 3 questions:

    1) Do you take per diems of any kind?

    2) Do you take advantage of the federal tax deduction available to certain state reps and senators?

    3) Do you voluntarily pay MA income tax at the higher rate as allowed on the MA state income tax return?

Would be interested to know if he is willing to put his own money where he so willingly wants to put ours.

  • ….the rights to use that song.

  • Did you know your man Thompson endorsed Eldridge just two years ago?  Don’t take my word for it, it’s on his website.  I thought you didn’t support RINOs.
