McKenna coming to Salem

The Jim McKenna for AG campaign will be marching in Salem’s 15th annual Haunted Happenings Grand Parade this Thursday, 10/7.

If you think that another four years of Martha Coakley ignoring the corruption on Beacon Hill is scary. Please come out and march with Jim.

The parade starts at 6:30 pm at Shetland Park on Congress St.

The Salem Evening News lists the following parking restrictions for Thursday:

For residents, the parade also means a parking ban from 5 to 10 p.m. on Congress Street (from Harbor Street to Derby Street), Derby Street, Lafayette Street (from Derby to Front Street), Essex Street (from Liberty Street to Hawthorne Boulevard) and Washington Square. Parked cars will be towed.

The same streets will be closed from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Also closed will be Route 1A between Dodge and Brown streets, New Derby Street, portions of Washington Street and Essex Street at Washington Street.
