Former Republican state Rep. Paul Loscocco called Republican gubernatorial candidate Charles Baker on Friday morning and told him he was quitting the race and would endorse Baker.
MORE BELOW THE FOLD….
A campaign aide said Loscocco called Baker on Thursday night to tell him of his decision. Loscocco then called Cahill on Friday morning.
So what happens now? It’s not like Loscocco is a political party. He can’t caucus in a candidate.
What if Cahill wins? Well, first monkeys fly out of my butt. While it will never happen, there is an interesting legal question here.
Where does Loscocco go? Back to practicing law? Some fun and fat gov’t job announced after the election?
