  • MA10 Dem.  Keating has funding advantage which will most likely put him on top, but O’Leary has a hidden geographic advantage on the Cape and Islands.  History teaches that an outstanding GOTV from a Cape and Island candidate can outpace, Quincy and Weymouth.  Plus Keating really is not even from Quincy or the 10th for that matter and Quincy tends under-deliver for her favorite sons, ask Frank Bellotti.

    Edge: Slight lean Keating.

MA10 Rep:  This is a name recognition vs. core base GOTV contest.  Malone is finishing strong, the topic has been ethics not immigration, which favors Malone.  Perry should have fought back these charges from day one, now if he wins the primary, Dems will use them again.  Malone’s many years as a state wide figure have served him well in debates and TV appearances.  This race is also an essentially a top of ballot contest.  Consequently, the voter base likely to be heavily registered Republican, which Perry has courted well.  Voter base and superior GOTV favor Perry.

    Edge: Perry.

  • and I hope to see Bielat run again.
