DISTRICT PRIMARY ELECTION
Reaches out to challenger Rob McCarthy, and Gets Right to Work
Danvers, MA – September 15, 2010. Bill Hudak, candidate for U.S. Congress in the 6th Massachusetts District received approximately 78% of the Republican vote in the primary election on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
“I am incredibly energized by this vote, and wish to thank my many supporters throughout this district,” commented Bill Hudak on his victory. “I also
want to thank Rob McCarthy for conducting a clean, vigorous campaign and extend
an invitation to him to join with us to defeat Congressman Tierney in November. ”
“There is much to do to win this election so we can get to work putting America back on track, particularly in the area of creating jobs and getting this economy moving” Hudak said. Recently Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, commented that the national debt is the single biggest threat to our national security. “The fact that the current Congress and Administration have willfully spent us into this position, and are seeking additional funds is a major reason most Americans feel our country is on the wrong track, ” observed Hudak. ” We must cut government spending, create jobs, provide tax relief to small businesses, secure our borders, and strengthen our national defense.”
“Mr. Tierney invited the winner of this Primary to debate these issues, and I’m ready to do so. I urge Mr. Tierney and his staff to join us by agreeing to a series of debates so we can present ourselves to the voters, and let them decide who will best represent this district going forward,” concluded Hudak.
