Chelmsford – Sandi Martinez, candidate for State Senate in the Third Middlesex District has announced that her candidacy has been endorsed by Massachusetts Citizens for Life PAC. Mass Citizens for Life is the oldest and largest right to life advocacy group in the state. It includes people from all backgrounds, creeds and walks of life who work to restore respect for all human life at every stage of life through educational and legislative activity.
Martinez is one of five primary candidates that were endorsed by MCFL PAC in 2010. Madeline McComish, Chairman of the MCFL State Political Action Committee, stated “Massachusetts is very fortunate to have so many fine, pro-life candidates in this Primary. The PAC encourages all those who care about the unborn, the disabled, or the elderly to vote pro-life on September 14th.”
Sandi Martinez is pleased to be recognized for her commitment to an issue as important as the right to life. “I am honored to earn this important endorsement. I have always advocated for the sanctity of life and, if elected, will be a voice for those who have no voice” Said Martinez.
Of the five candidates endorsed by MCFL PAC, two are Republicans and three are Democrats. Martinez stated, “This is a bi-partisan issue around which I will work to build consensus across party lines”.
Sandi Martinez is a Republican candidate for State Senate in the Third Middlesex district. Her priorities include job growth, economic recovery, and lower taxes. She advocates for government accountability and will fight to bring full transparency to the spending on Beacon Hill.
Sandi is an IT professional who has worked for small companies, large corporations and has run her own IT consulting firm. She knows the issues faced by small businesses and will work to create a more inviting environment. Sandi is a lifelong resident of the Third Middlesex District. She was born in Waltham and raised in Chelmsford where she currently lives with Louis, her husband of 28 years. Sandi is a daughter of a veteran, a mother of a veteran, and has 2 sons currently in the Marines. She supports the military and veterans through her work as a Blue Star mom and other veteran’s activities.
The Third Middlesex district is comprised of the nine communities of Waltham, Chelmsford, Concord, Bedford, Sudbury (precincts 1 and 4), Weston, Carlisle, Lincoln, and Lexington (precincts 3, 8, and 9).
