Jim Rappaport endorses Sandi Martinez for State Senate

and serves as Honorary Campaign Co-Chair

Businessman, and former Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party, Jim Rappaport, has endorsed Sandi Martinez in the race for the Third Middlesex Senate seat.

“The Commonwealth is buried in debt, our taxes and regulations are overwhelming us, and out of control spending is going to break us,” said Rappaport.  He continued: “Now, more than ever, it is time for a change; Sandi Martinez is our agent for change in the Massachusetts State Senate!”

“I commend Sandi for her solution driven leadership and effectiveness in building consensus on solutions for hard problems” “Sandi is forward thinking and was one of the first Tea Party Group Founders in Massachusetts. She was elected during the Presidential Primary in 2008 as the Republican State Committeewoman from the 3rd Middlesex District, and has been successful in organizing town committees, further mobilizing local activists. Both the Tea Party Movement and the growth of the Republican Town Committees will be as important in the fall to electing Republicans, as they were to the election of  Scott Brown to the US Senate .” Rappaport said.

“Jim is a tremendously successful entrepreneur and has been a strong activist for Republican principles.  It is an honor to have his endorsement and to have him serve as an Honorary Co-Chairman of my campaign.  He will be invaluable as an advisor as we fight to turn the economy around, stop Massachusetts from bleeding jobs, and work for a secure business climate that will bring to the district and the state jobs” concluded Martinez.

Jim Rappaport joins Weston businessman, and president of the Association of Massachusetts Republican Chairmen, Richard Hersum in chairing Sandi’s Campaign Committee.

Sandi Martinez is running for State Senate in the Third Middlesex district,  Waltham, Chelmsford, Concord, Bedford, Sudbury (precincts 1 and 4), Weston, Carlisle, Lincoln, and Lexington (precincts 3, 8, and 9).
