(I wholeheartedly agree. Laws should be made by elected bodies, not unelected regulatory agencies.
I just spoke to a very nice woman in Sen. Brown’s D.C. office urging him to vote yes for Sen. Murkowski’s bill tomorrow. If you don’t want to get slammed with a massive tax increase every time you turn on a light or drive to work, I ask you to do so as well.
Backround from Americans For Prosperity:
There are only three Republicans in the country who are NOT co-sponsors of SJ Res 26 (also known as the Murkowski Resolution). This resolution, if passed, would stop the EPA’s attempt to impose huge, expensive regulations in the name of global warming.
One of them is Scott Brown. (The other two are Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe from Maine.) Brown is under enormous pressure from environmental extremists to vote no. I need your help to convince him to stand up to the Obama administration, the EPA, and the extremists and vote YES.
Please call Senator Brown now at (202) 224-4543 and urge him to vote YES on SJ RES 26!
The EPA is planning to use global warming to regulate just about everything that moves in the US economy, planes, trains, buses, automobiles, tractors, farm equipment, livestock, and a lot of things that don’t move like commercial buildings or commercial kitchens that use natural gases and cooking fuel.
