Ray Kasperowicz renounces the remarks made by the Mexican State of Chihuahua Governor Jose Reyes Baeza which blamed the recent killings of two Mexicans by U.S. Border Patrol agents as due to “xenophobia and racism, derived from the approval of Arizona’s anti-immigration law.”
T.J. Bonner, president of the union representing Border Patrol agents, said “rock throwing aimed at Border Patrol agents is common and capable of causing serious injury.” Ray Kasperowicz supports the U.S. Border Patrol Union and their employees.
If the Mexican government seeks to improve the relations between Americans, Mexicans and the Border Patrols of our respective nations they can start by asking their citizens living along the border to stop the violent acts directed at our border patrol agents.
Ray Kasperowicz hopes the federal government shows more support for its Border Patrol Agents in this incident than it showed to Agents Compos and Ramos several years ago when they shot a Mexican drug dealer.
Raymond Kasperowicz is a candidate for U.S. Congress in the Massachusetts 10th Congressional District.
