The Race For Massachusetts: Whose Got the Best Shot?

CLICK ON MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNOR article

I’m pretty sure that this Rasmussen article has already been posted, or at least parts of it…but there are some aspects of the recent polling that really stand out, trust me it’s worth taking a gander:

Here’s a couple…

1) Support for Deval Patrick’s re-election “remains in the mid-30s”…while 53% DISAPPROVE of his performance of governor, including 33% who STRONGLY DISAPPROVE

2) On Health Care Reform…”voters in the Bay State are evenly divided over whether the just-passed national plan should be repealed.  Forty-eight percent (48%) favor repeal, while 48% are opposed

My two-cents…

Deval Patrick has got a long road ahead to fight the ever-increasing resentment for incumbent democrats in the nation.  Republican Charlie Baker has the chance to make great strides with women and the 18-25 age range due to his fiscally conservative, yet socially liberal platform.  The news media would like to suggest that Tim Cahill has a decent shot, but I’m skeptical of his platform and general likeabilty
