FORMER LT. GOV. KERRY HEALEY TO CO-HOST FUNDRAISER FOR 10TH CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE JEFF PERRY
Kerry Healey, former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, will host a fundraising reception for 10th Congressional District candidate Jeff Perry at 6:30pm, Wednesday, March 31st at the Neighbor Club in Quincy.
“I am thrilled to be hosting this event in support of Jeff Perry,” said Healey. “I know from working with Jeff at the Statehouse that he is a tough fiscal watchdog and someone who is not afraid to stand up on behalf of the taxpayers of Massachusetts. Jeff’s independent voice is desperately needed on Capitol Hill right now, and the people of the 10th Congressional District would benefit greatly from having Jeff there to serve them.”
“Kerry Healey is a public servant in the truest sense of the word. She has contributed a great deal to our state and to the people of Massachusetts, and I am extremely proud that she is hosting this event for me,” said Perry, who currently serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
The Quincy event comes one week after Senator Scott Brown announced his endorsement of Perry.
The fundraiser, which is also being co- hosted by Dr. Lisa Antonelli and Dr. John Dalton, will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Neighborhood Club located at 27 Glendale Road in Quincy.
Perry has represented the Fifth Barnstable district (which includes the town of Sandwich and portions of Barnstable, Bourne and Mashpee) in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since winning the seat in 2002. He is a small business owner and served as a Wareham police officer for eight years, rising through the ranks to sergeant. He is also a licensed attorney and is a partner in the law firm of Flannigan and Perry P.C., which has offices in Hanover and Hyannis.
