Can things get much worse for Christy Mihos.
The Boston Globe reports today that Charlie Baker is shattering records with his fundraising. He now has a balance pushing two million dollars. Christy’s has about three thousand bucks – it’s almost laughable – and people are increasingly worried that he just doesn’t have even the personal funds to run a campaign given his documented problems with the Internal Revenue Service.

But on a day like today, the owner of a convenience store in Dennis, MA must be wondering why he didn’t take that final step last Autumn. On September 9th the Boston Herald referred to Christy’s plans to run for the U.S. Senate as “all but assured.”
But in what the HERALD called a “baffling turn around” Mihos dropped out of the senate bid just as he had pretty much dropped in.
Now, we see the Republican Scott Brown running for senate within striking distance of winning – thank God.
Christy must be wishing right now that he had not dropped out of the Senate race in that “baffling turn around.”
Then again, one can’t help but wonder if he’d have accomplished what Scott Brown has. Brown is a very steady at the helm man, and Christy is…..well…..Christy. A guy who can’t remember driving himself to a hospital. He said he “fell” outside his office and had broken teeth, etc. “It was stupid for me to drive myself to the hospital,” Mihos said. “I don’t remember what or how I got there. I don’t remember much.”

But Christy’s always falling down, isn’t he. Here’s what the press reported about the last “accidental” fall he had. “More than three months before the election, Mihos fell from his boat, tore a rotator cuff and injured several vertebrae.” LINK – http://www.bu.edu/phpbin/news-…
