Will John Kerry Demand Answers on Climate Data

( – promoted by Garrett)

Last week I contacted John Kerry’s office.  They were gracious enough to offer a statement for the initial piece I wrote on what has become known as climate gate.  His statement while gracious, parroted the line the left has used time and time again against “Global Warming” skeptics, “real science, consensus science”.

First, to everyone here – we may not agree on most issues – but Happy Thanksgiving. Second, on this climate change question, let’s all stick to the facts. I’ve dug into the science a long time now, and I believe it’s compelling, but don’t take my word for anything – look at it yourself. The latest report-consensus science –  which was released earlier today and can be found HERE – speaks for itself. It shows that climate change impacts are occurring faster, and with greater intensity, than even a few years ago. I haven’t read a thing about this other report.

We’ve seen this line before. In almost every post about global warming I’ve done whether here or over at Blue Mass Group, the line used to try and destroy my point is the same, “peer reviewed science shows warming.”  For instance RMGer syphax states:

In what peer-reviewed, scientific publication was this published?

He states again here:

And please tell me why any data that I’ve shown on this thread is a lie.  We’re talking about peer-reviewed science here. “Because I said so, and Mann is a liar” is not sufficient.

The examples just on RMG 45 if you enter peer reviewed on this page.

What happens however when you find out that the peer review process has been rigged for years? Rigged to not let in any scientific data, no matter how robust, which disproves your point.

Beyond the rigging of data though we are finding out just today that the East Anglia Climate Research Unit – the preeminent research facility for “Global Warming” – has lost the source data upon which all of their models are based.  Data that skeptical scientists have been wanting to get their hands on, to see how their models were created, for years.

SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

This is the basis of the scientific process.  That your work should be repeatable to any who try.  Without this data the scientific community needs to take on faith your findings.

Given the bombshells that keep rolling in, almost daily, from the East Anglia hack I have a question for John Kerry.  Senator Kerry, will you take a step back to ask the questions of the scientific community about the apparent falsification of data, and all too convenient loss of data?  Before the United States cedes over Sovereignty to an international organization by treaty – an organization that will tell us how much energy we can use among other things – will you call for investigations into whether or not “Global Warming” is real or hoax foisted upon us by humans looking to make a dollar?  Senator Kerry, the time to stand up is now.  Will you demand answers?
