Dahlberg to enter GOP primary for state senate

( – promoted by DD4RP)

Although Chelmsford Selectman Eric Dahlberg’s official announcement wont come until next week, he has made it clear that he intends on jumping in the race for the 3rd Middlesex District Senate seat.  After filing papers, gathering support, and launching a campaign committee, he is determined to take his message to the people.

He is set to face off in a GOP primary against third time candidate Sandi Martinez also from Chelmsford.

Message from the Eric Dahlberg for State Senate Facebook Group:

It’s time to send a fighter for the taxpayers to Beacon Hill. It’s time to elect Chelmsford Selectman Eric Dahlberg to represent the 3rd Middlesex District in the Massachusetts Senate in 2010!

Eric will bring the same priorities to the Massachusetts Senate that he’s brought to the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen: improving the business climate, striving to keep taxes low, working to keep government efficient and effective, and always remembering who’s boss: the taxpayers!

The 3rd Middlesex district is made up of the nine communities of Bedford, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Lexington (precincts 3, 8 and 9), Lincoln, Sudbury (precincts 1 and 4), Waltham and Weston.
