The New York Post is reporting that two senators are switching to the Republican caucus throwing majority control of the Senate from the Democratic to the Republican caucus. http://www.nypost.com/seven/06…
Now after all we have heard about the GOP not being a big tent (Arlen Specter and all, yadda, yadda) here is stark evidence of the Democratic Party not being able to keep its house together (pun intended).
Do you think that this will see the light of day in the MSM? I’m betting not.
Oh, and by the way, the two switchers are Hiram Monserrate of Queens and Pedro Espada, Jr. of the Bronx. What’s that again about the GOP not being able to attract urban voters?
