Senate Democrats voted 42-13 Tuesday to allow Joe Lieberman to continue his chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
Sens. Bernie Sanders, Patrick Leahy, Barbara Boxer, and Tom Harkin voted for retribution.
We do not know who the other nine nutcakes are because the caucus, in a cowardly move to protect themselves from the wrath of the kiddiecrat progressive wing of the party, voted by secret ballot.
Ironically, secret ballot is a right that they will voting to deny working Americans come the next congress. And keeping Joe Lieberman in the fold could be their key to a successful cloture vote on this thuggish legislation.
Lieberman has allowed Democrats to retain control of the Senate, 51-49, for the past two years by caucusing with them, but the
moron moveon types have had it in for him since he waxed the nutbag Ned Lamont in the mid-term ’06 election.
There’s sure to be some caterwallin’ about this by the huffers and kos kiddie komrads.
Never a dull moment.
