Beatty launches first general election ad

Looks like Jeff is coming out swinging for the General.  Here’s hoping his has the $$$ to run more of these ads.

Jeff Beatty kicked off his general election campaign Wednesday by blasting John Kerry in his first television ad.

The Harwich Republican’s ad features two segments. The first part criticizes the Boston senator for gas prices and taxes that are higher now than when he was elected in 1984.

“When John Kerry was first elected 24 years ago, gas was a dollar, and our cost of living lower,” the narrator says. “Since then Kerry’s travelled the world, ran for president, and left us behind with $4 gas and the high taxes he voted to raise…We’ve had enough of that.”
