Meeting in Northborough

I would like to thank Andy San Clemente for hosting a fundraiser last night at the Veterans of Foreign War Hall in Northborough. It was a great opportunity to present our message, particularly with regard to the issues that affect us all: illegal immigration, energy costs and health care. I certainly appreciated the give and take with a responsive – and quite generous – audience.
Earlier in the day, I was heartened by the latest poll numbers where I closed the gap by seven points with the leading Democratic candidate (remember — there are two gentlemen vying for the party’s nomination!) over the past month. We’re gaining, but we have a lot of ground to make up with four months left in the race.
Moreover, we have to get the word out to the 45% who still don’t know me or our message. We have our work cut out for us – but with your help in writing letters to the editor, calling on talk radio, and even writing on your own blog, we’ll narrow the gap! More importantly, with fundraisers and sponsored meet and great events, we’ll be in a better position. With the help of great folks like Andy San Clemente – we’re getting the word out!
Just a reminder – I’ll be marching in the Randolph parade at 6PM on July 3rd. The parade will start at Boston Higashi School on 800 North Main Street. Later that evening, with the support of the Franklin Republican Town Committee, we’ll be visiting with supporters at the Franklin fireworks display at the Franklin High School, so come by and say hello. .
On Independence Day, we’ll participate in the Chelmsford Parade at 10 AM by the McCarthy Middle School on North Road. Later, beginning at 2 PM, we’ll be in the Duxbury Parade, starting at Halls Corner and ending at Duxbury High School.
If I don’t see you then – have a safe and wonderful Independence Day Weekend!
