Boston Globe and Lowell Sun Reporting – Ogo fell short

The Lowell Sun is reporting that Jim Ogonowski fell 30 signatures short of getting his name on the ballot.

Republican Senate hopeful Jim Ogonowski has fallen 30 signatures short of qualifying for the ballot this fall to run against U.S. Sen. John Kerry, according to the Secretary of State’s office.

Shortly after the 5 p.m. deadline, Galvin spokeswoman Brian McNiff said Ogonowski had turned in 9,970 signatures, 30 short of the required amount.
