SouthCoast Republicans were thrilled to hear that grassroots activist and small businessman Earl Sholley of Norfolk, MA has acquired the necessary signatures to place him on the ballot against 13-term incumbent, US Representative Barney Frank (D-MA) in the 4th Congressional District.
I had the fortunate opportunity to visit with Mr. Sholley and collect nominating signatures on Sunday in Fairhaven, MA, and was encouraged at the response of the constituents at the Stop & Shop. Many residents remarked that ‘anybody but Frank’ would be a welcomed change.
Mr. Sholley was advised to acquire his bearings on the fishing industry and its resulting factors and issues before meeting and greeting the citizens of New Bedford. Mr. Sholley appeared to accept these words of advice readily.
For those looking to assist Mr. Sholley in his bid for the US House of Representatives seat, please feel free to contact the New Bedford Republican Party at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our district website: www.semassgop.com
